Unknown ODR issue with DataLogWriter

Valgrind reports Mismatched new/delete size value: 240... Address 0x53d4480 is 0 bytes inside a block of size 232 alloc'd. So there's an extra pointer. Maybe it's a vtable thing, or something else? I didn't see any obvious candidates.
