Patch notes (post release):

v1.1.7

  • Tweaked the input generation on levels {H.E, H.E+, H.F, H.F+}. Now failing the task with a specific set of inputs will trigger the factory to repeat with the same inputs. This is intended prevent players from cheesing these levels; factories must now be designed in such a way as to have a high success probability for all inputs.

v1.1.6

  • Tweaked level CII.A to make it slightly easier. On existing an save file players will first need to clear the board to see these changes.
  • Modified "delay" gates to increase delay limit up to 80 ticks (up from previous limit of 7 ticks).
  • Fixed bug in level select that sometimes caused "Starred" level count to display incorrectly.
  • Added link to QCoder: Quantum Competitive Programming (you should try it out!).

v1.1.5

  • Fixed a small bug with the Administron messages failing to auto-play.

  • Minor graphical fixes.

v1.1.3

  • Minor graphical overhaul: added some filters and textual overlays. The previous version graphics are recovered using the "med" graphics settings in the options.

v1.1.2

  • Added a link on the title screen to the (newly created) game walkthrough.
  • Removed the game dimming when the window focus is lost.
  • Fixed a bug where the robot dialogue would disappear when the window refocused.
  • Changed the bonus criteria for level QII.H.
  • Slightly reworked level QII.E and added a journal entry (users who have already played this level on their save file will have to clear the level with the C button to see these changes).

v1.1.1 - Quick fix:

  • Re-adjusted the arrows linking conceptually similar levels in the level selection to properly account for the addition of the extra tutorial with the previous update,

v1.1.0 - Some more substantial changes this time:

  • Added an additional tutorial level "T:F Making Amends", which is designed to tutorialize selecting different factory save states (via the blueprint icons) and the copy/paste system for blocks of factory components. This change should NOT break existing save files (as far as I am able to test...).
  • Fixed Handbook 11 entry [cos(theta)^2 --> cos(theta/2)^2].
  • Random number generator is now seeded each time a factory is run; this ensures that, when using "step-back" to rewind the calculation, all probabilistic events will give the same result when re-run. No more save-scumming, ya dirty cheaters!
  • Rewrote the briefing for "QI.A: Inversion" to bring attention to the introduction of the journal notes.

v1.0.8

  • Fixed bonus star not properly triggering on QIII.B.
  • Changed the briefing on QI.A to mention the introduction of the employee notes (the 'J' button), as it was otherwise being missed by some users.
  • Right clicking on the power-on button now starts the factory at maximum running speed; no more mashing of the "speed-up" button required.
