Hand typing simulator

piTelex provides a simulator for hand typed text. When activated, it will insert random delays between "keystrokes". Activate it through the command <ESC> T, e.g. in screen. The simulator will then print "lorem ipsum" dummy text with pseudo random delay between the keystrokes until it is disabled. Another <ESC> T stops the simulator.

Note

In order for the text to be printed, the teleprinter must be switched on and have an active connection to piTelex, for example by dialing into local mode ('000') or by entering 'ESC A' in 'screen'.
