SW_LocalMode
As soon as piTelex has a working hardware connection to the teleprinter / CCU, the device can be operated in local mode. This mode differs from the local mode that is activated on the CCU with the LT button; in the latter case, the CCU does not establish a connection to piTelex, but only supplies the teleprinter with mains and line voltage.
In contrast, the local mode of piTelex simulates an active connection for CCU and teleprinter so that the functions of CCU and teleprinter can be tested.
This local mode is established on the CCU by pressing the AT button ( --> status 'WB') and then dialing the digits 000. piTelex accepts the call and responds with a pseudo connection setup; the CCU goes into 'A' status, the teleprinter starts up (when dialing the number switch).
This pseudo connection can be disconnected like any real connection by pressing the ST key.
