Important: Due to the improvements around key handling in this version, user profile .INI files from this will no longer be compatible with older versions of the port, or the original DOS release.
Major changes since release 0.3.8.3071:
General Game Improvements
- A crash when the Displacertron was used on an occupied vehicle is fixed
- Sprites wrongly rendered at screen borders bug fixed
- Debug overlays for some commands fixed
- Large amount of work put into refactoring menu drawing and functionality:
- It's now possible to use the mouse wheel to scroll text in briefings, and also the saved games menu
- Many previously hardcoded keys can now be rebound. This means it's now possible to use the WASD keys if desired.
- Volume sliders in the menus are now drawn in the "flashy" projector style like other menu components, unlike in the original DOS release
- Menu text strings are no longer hardcoded and can be edited/expanded through .POT files like other text in the game
Eurocorp Campaign Changes
- Restored dummied out intro cut scene in the level Deep Mind that was previously not shown. Added ReLevelNo variant level to allow skipping of this sequence on retry.
Unguided Campaign Changes
- New Unguided campaign mission Reformation added
- Ran polish pass on mission Zealot Attack to make it fit better with the other campaign's first missions.
Windows Installer Changes
- A bug where portable version options were not respected is fixed
