Releases: Lailloken/Exile-UI

1.63.0

28 May 18:25

Choose a tag to compare

Important: Early 0.5.0 Release

  • I'm releasing it early so people have enough time to add custom notes to the guide if they want to

  • the guide in this release cannot be used for practice runs anymore (route is incompatible), so only update if you're done practicing

  • it also includes changes to clipboard-copying, which makes many features that rely on it unusuable in 0.4.x

Important: Act-Decoder

  • depending on how much the campaign is changing, the act-decoder will be moderately to severely outdated

    • it's possible that A4 wasn't changed much, and the interludes not at all, but we simply don't know
  • if you want to keep it on in order to check it periodically, you should bind it to a separate hotkey (e.g. side mouse-button)

    • if you keep it on TAB, you won't have access to hint-images (teal info-text) in the guide

    • there are new hint-images based on the teasers, so I really recommend rebinding the hotkey or disabling the feature

Fixes:

  • fixed a file-encoding issue with the games' config-files (reported in #768)

  • Item-Info: talismans were treated as 1-socket items by default, so the quality & iron rule scaling option was sometimes inaccurate

Act-Tracker:

  • updated the guide with pre-release information from the teasers

    • several environment clues

    • different zone order for A2 (Halani Gates skip) and A3 (Jungle Ruins revisit -> Matlan Waterways -> Azak Bog)

    • Aldur questline for unlocking crafting benches

  • the new guide will be applied the next time you reset your guide-slot

    • if your guide-slot has custom notes, it will not be updated (create a separate slot, or delete the current one)
  • added a note about 0.5 and a world-map info-text to the first town-visit

    img

  • added "Free Matiki" prompts to every boss-fight in A4 (because he rotates between them each league)

  • league-rewards: possible changes

    • one of the teasers had a different A2 Vastiri Outskirts reward in the league encounter

    • there is a chance they changed a number of rewards, so keep that in mind

  • added extra highlighting to optional gems whenever they hit a new level

v1.62.7 (Hotfix 1)

28 May 18:13
2869395

Choose a tag to compare

Hotfix 1

  • fixed an issue with reading the games' config-files

PSA: Upcoming Campaign Changes in 0.5

  • in case you missed it, many layout/routing aspects will be adjusted in 0.5

  • this means the act-decoder may be outdated for large parts of the campaign (use with caution)

  • for the league-launch update (v1.63.0), I will try to implement everything into the Act-Tracker guide that was teased up to this point

Fixes

  • FilterSpoon: the hotkey combination would work even if the feature was not enabled

Act-Tracker: Major Pre-League Update

  • these updates will be applied the next time you reset your guide-slot (DON'T DO IT IF YOU'RE ALREADY ON A CAMPAIGN-RUN)

  • if your guide-slot has custom edits, it will not be updated: you have to create a new slot or delete the previous one

Optionals:

  • the bullet-point is now green for improved visibility

  • added many optionals (league-rewards or otherwise) to zones where they were missing

  • this includes even the "bad" ones, just so you know you can safely skip an encounter

  • league-start: added occasional "check vendors" prompts to town-visits

A1 Lachlann:

  • league-start: after killing him, you now port back to town to revive the hooded one and check vendors

A1 Hunting Grounds -> Ogham Farmlands:

  • you now kill Crowbell and get the Freythorn waypoint, then continue to Ogham Farmlands

  • once you reach Ogham Village, you return to town to hand in the lute, then waypoint-travel to Freythorn

  • this gives you 2 additional skillpoints, optional gems, and more exp before fighting the King in the Mists

A1 Executioner:

  • league-start: after killing the executioner, you return to town for:

    • the L5 gem from Leitis

    • the rune + bench from Renly

    • (vendors)

  • afterwards, you waypoint-travel to the Manor Ramparts

A2 Kabala Clan Relic:

  • added a note about the relic also dropping in the next zone

A2 Fallen Dekhara Letter

  • league-start: added an optional note about returning the letter early (2 skillpoints) in case you have damage issues

A4 Island Order

  • you now visit Isle of Kin / Volcanic Warrens first

  • this gives you earlier access to uncut gems, a greater blank rune, and the elemental ring

A4 Excavation Site

  • added the note about skipping the cut-scene where Sin reassembles the weapon

Interlude Order

  • small side-effect for timer-users: the CSV-file will no longer have accurate splits for the individual interludes

  • you no longer do the interludes in order: instead, the route now prioritizes skillpoints, permanent bonuses, and relative difficulty

  • you start in INT2 for increased max HP, 2 skillpoints (scorpion + devourer), and 2 side-area waypoints

  • you then switch to INT3 and finish it to get extra maximum spirit, and 2 skillpoints (yeti)

  • you backtrack to INT2 to finish it (the boss-fight should now be easier)

  • you go to INT1 and finish it last: since it is generally viewed as the easiest interlude, the higher level shouldn't be an issue

FilterSpoon

  • added poe.ninja economy checks for scarabs

  • added a toggle to economy checks to create extra rules for higher stacks

    img

    • example: you set up a cut-off of 1 chaos to hide everything below that

    • it will create rules for stacks that are worth 1 or more chaos, e.g. 2-stacks of a 0.6c item, 3-stacks of a 0.4c item, etc.

      img

  • added global quick-settings for: quality flasks, socketed gear (PoE2 artificer salvaging)

    img

  • added customization options for sound effects, beams, and minimap-icons

v1.62.6

Choose a tag to compare

FilterSpoon: General Tweaks & Initial PoE2 Support

  • tweaked some inconsistencies when creating hidden tiers and moving items there

  • can now be used in PoE2

  • rule-matching by hovering over items might be less accurate than in PoE1 due to limitations I cannot circumvent

Map-Tracker: Kill Tracking

  • the Well of Souls (PoE2 Abyss crafting) is now treated as a town/hideout, so kill-tracking will not be reset if you go there in between maps

  • it's now possible to retroactively track kills for the previous map (if you forgot to update the tracker before starting a new one)

    • when you enter the new map, the usual omni-key pop-up will appear, but this will now also calculate the kill-count for the previous map

    • HOWEVER: this is a band-aid solution and should not be made a habit because, otherwise, the final map of each session will not have tracking data

    • this only works if you stay in towns and hideouts in between maps (due to the general reset mentioned above)

v1.62.5

05 May 12:40

Choose a tag to compare

Fixes

  • act-tracker: dynamic character tracking wasn't working if you had a guild-tag in your name

FilterSpoon: Quick-Access Editor for NeverSink/FilterBlade Lootfilters

  • rebuilt from scratch & re-enabled for PoE1 (support for PoE2 will come shortly)

  • this feature is still somewhat "experimental" (because lootfiltering is a complex aspect)

  • can be accessed via the menu-widget or by holding down a modifier-key (default: ALT) and pressing the omni-key over an item

    • menu-widget: opens either the starting page or the last page you viewed

    • omni-key: opens a new search specifically for the item you're hovering over

  • the editor is built around using the online filters on your account (teal filters in the in-game menu)

    • this makes it easier to keep base filters up-to-date, and it streamlines general usage

    • I'm open to implementing support for local filters (if there are genuine advantages)

  • the rest of the release notes covers only the core use-cases of this feature: there are style and economy options that will not be highlighted here (the help tooltips within the tool should be self-explanatory)

    • EDIT: the wiki page will be updated with additional info at some point

FilterSpoon: Setup

  • this feature needs to be enabled in the settings menu first

  • hold down ESC to open the menu-widget, then click the FilterSpoon icon

  • a window will pop up and ask you to open the in-game lootfilter list and check for the "FilterSpoon" entry

  • after closing the pop-up, a basic UI with a drop-down list will open:

    img

  • select your desired base filter from the list to finish the initial setup

FilterSpoon: General Usage

  • the editor uses two main colors (default: light & dark blue), and anything with the darker color is clickable or has an info-box

  • currently, the editor can be used in two different ways:

    • omni-click items to find the specific filter-rule and modify it

      img

    • freely search and browse the whole filter and modify it to your liking

      img

  • in the 2nd screenshot, you can see how search results are divided by dark blue bars: these show how the filter is divided into types/groups and how those are further divided into tiers

  • both types and tiers can be individually collapsed (in case you're doing broad searches and need to sift through the results)

    img

FilterSpoon: Use-Case Scenario

scenario: you find a single fusing and decide you no longer want to pick those up

  • hold down the modifier-key and omni-click on the orb of fusing to open the editor and search for the exact filter-rule

    img

  • from here, you have the option to hide the entire filter tier

    img

  • if there are items within that tier that you still want to pick up, it's better to move fusings to a tier that's already hidden: click orb of fusing to see more options

    img

    • simply move it to one of the hidden tiers, and you'll no longer see dropped 1x and 2x fusings

    img

  • while using NeverSink filters, you may have noticed that higher stacks of currency have extra highlighting: this has implications for this use-case scenario of hiding fusings

  • if the value of fusings has dropped so low that you don't even want to pick up higher stacks, you'll have to modify additional filter rules

  • you can right-click items in the search results to start a "global" search for that item: this is the same as manually searching for "item name" (as shown previously when omni-clicking and manual searching were compared)

    img

    • from here, you have the same options as before: hiding the whole tier, or moving an item to a different tier

    • NOTE: rules for higher stacks usually don't have hidden tiers by default, so the editor gives you the option to dynamically create a new tier

      img

v1.62.4

07 Apr 15:18

Choose a tag to compare

General

  • fixed (text) scaling inconsistencies in the menu-widget and chat-macros menus

  • "blacking out" the taskbar is now a separate toggle and should be more consistent

    img

Act-Tracker

  • fixed an oversight where deleting a guide-slot didn't reset its timer

  • added a new option 'dynamic character tracking' to make tracking and switching between characters easier

    img

    1. if the guide-overlay is active, new characters will be automatically tracked and added to the active guide-slot upon reaching level 2

      • this means you don't necessarily have to know a new character's name beforehand or have to go back to the settings to paste the correct name after creating the character

      • this primarily makes league-starts smoother (you set up your guide-slot in queue and don't have to think about it later)

    2. when you write something into local chat, tracking will automatically switch to the guide-slot with that character's name

      • this can also be used outside the campaign to quickly switch between end-game characters

Stash-Ninja

  • essence of insanity was positioned incorrectly

Vaal Street

  • fixed a lock-up when clicking on tracked listings (async trade)

v1.62.3

02 Apr 06:18

Choose a tag to compare

Act-Decoder: Tweaked Highlighting

  • added extra highlighting to layout indicators past the first "pair" of indicators

    img

Act-Tracker: Guide Tweaks

  • A1: you now immediately enter Flooded Depths and kill the Dweller, then use the new exit to return to Submerged Passage

    • league-start: you return to town to pick up the reward upon reaching the prison

    • non-league-start: you relog to town to pick up the reward upon killing Brutus

  • A1: the chemist's strongbox is now a league-start-only "optional"

  • A2: added a prompt to invite Helena to your hideout after finishing Chamber of Sins

Fixes

  • general: multi-threading wasn't working correctly if .ahk files were not set up to open with AutoHotkey by default (reported in #730)

  • Item-Info: the "infamous" attack speed mod had an infamous icon

  • settings menu: fixed a placement issue on 4K setups with high scaling (reported in #757)

General

  • the option black out screen area around the client now also covers the taskbar

  • there are still instances where the taskbar pops up again, in which case you have to "re-focus" the game-client (either by alt-tabbing back and forth or tapping the Windows-key twice)

Map-Tracker

  • changed the idle text from not tracking to not mapping to avoid Act-Tracker ambiguity

  • now also tracks hive colonies (breach boss-fight accessed via hivebrain glands)

Search-Strings: New Setup/Usage Method

  • added a "universal use-case" for users who don't use multiple types of strings or who can't use screen-checks

    img

  • this lets you bind one or more regex-strings to a specific hotkey and skip calibration steps

Stash-Ninja: Global Profiles

  • added a toggle to use a single unified set of profiles that applies to every stash tab

  • this moves the profile settings from stash tab configuration to general settings

    img

Vaal Street: Quick Repricing

  • slightly tweaked how the price history of an item is displayed

    before after
    img img
    • instead of showing "price X was set Y time ago", it now shows "price X lasted for Y time"

    • this does not affect the current price on the far right

Vaal Street: Log-Viewer for Async Trading

  • the recently-added async trade features now have a dedicated log-viewer

    img

    img

  • the table shows (up to) the last 7 days of a week, and the individual trades are listed in reverse-chronological order (latest at the top)

  • the table is divided into 2 parts: purchased items (left), sold items (right)

  • the log-viewer has basic search functionality that lets you search within the items' tooltip-texts and search for trades with a specific minimum price

  • there's an experimental view-mode called "in/out" that only shows items that you bought and then sold again later

    • currently, it is only able to match items that have not been significantly modified (e.g. sockets, simple corruption)

    • I don't know whether this mode will be used all too much, so it will only be expanded based on feedback (it's too cumbersome to predict/implement every possible modification)

v1.62.0

06 Mar 16:27

Choose a tag to compare

Mirage League Update

  • this is a preliminary update to support 3.28

  • there are a few things I can't update without having access to updated items, stashes, etc.

Act-Tracker:

  • added support for 3.28 trees and the reliquarian

  • added initial support for new gems (the patch notes didn't include the full quest/vendor information)

  • reward gems now take priority over vendor gems

Betrayal-Info

  • updated rewards to 3.28

Map-Tracker

  • removed Ritual reminders when opening portals (because of the new in-game notification)

Feedback

v1.61.7

04 Mar 16:04

Choose a tag to compare

General Info: Pre-League Cleanup

  • this update does not include any 3.28-related changes

  • (planned) versioning from now on: with every league-start, there will be a new major version to indicate that it contains (all) the necessary changes/updates

  • so v1.62.0 will be the "Mirage update"

Fixes

  • act-tracker: hint images (holding TAB when there's teal text) weren't working correctly in combination with specific act-decoder settings

  • map-tracker: Keepers League had an incorrect end-date, which led to incorrect filtering/sorting

Act-Decoder

  • revisited and tweaked A1-10 layouts: some have new icons, others had their info-box removed (if it didn't provide much value)

Act-Tracker

  • tweaked/rewrote certain sections of the PoE1 guide

  • the close trees hotkey is now bound to SPACE by default

  • reworked the guide's routing with regards to gem-quests

    • the gems toggle is now gem-quests

    • if the imported PoB includes gems: gem-quests toggle determines whether to include quests at all, and a new all toggle controls whether additional gem-quests should be included or not (i.e. every quest except A3 library)

    • if the imported PoB doesn't include gems: added the gem-quests toggle to include every gem-quest (except A3 library) anyway

  • the gem-pickup configurator now highlights gems if the earliest pickup is the A3 library quest
