• Steve created the long-awaited PR for Julie; cap_gen.py can now parse ccpp-table-properties and dependencies

Transition to cap_gen.py

• Updated DTC timeline and resource chart (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1XbSF1ejYcPMrVtZtk1OSiMX-vI5srLkwEUhyAirGr8k/edit?usp=sharing)
• Things that need to happen for transitioning UFS to cap_gen.py (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1M3mCO3ESR9OJqLyUbQf-ahJtmfmGKilZlWaBTxsfMRk/edit?usp=sharing)
  • Need to add: remove all optional arguments from CCPP-physics (also optional=T/F ?) and from ccpp_prebuild_config.py
  • Can we completely get rid of optional arguments and update the CCPP requirements document? Do we need to get approval for this?
    • Last time we updated the document it was discussed with EMC and approved by Fred Toepfer (NGGPS program manager at that time)
  • Are there more changes that need to be made to the CCPP requirements document? Features we implemented in the recent past?
