General Topics

• Today we are still on Teams, but hope to move to HPSF Zoom soon.

• Nicole update on Trilinos integration

  • Looking more closely at Teuchos for what is needed for integration there, in addition to Tpetra.
  • Need to compile a list of missing functionality needed from Kokkos Comm. There is an old issue (#10) that had a list of app needs, but perhaps it is out of date. E.g., MPI_Abort, which was part of Alex's error handling PR.

• CEA has revived the NCCL work, with PR ready for Carl to review.

  • Key remaining work to implement the testing and CI.

• Alex PR on MPI scan and exclusive scan needs discussion.

  • NCCL doesn't have equivalent calls.
  • Ask is whether we have applications that need this call. CEA doesn't.
  • Rolling implementations manually for NCCL would take work, so maybe we don't pursue (or at least delay) if not needed.
