  • CYrus will test with "final" release branch, target VTK-m 1.7 on Friday (12/3)

• Share anything else that should be on our radar (timelines, which ECP App this impacts)

Issues:

• Marco: Ascent + PeleLM, need field filtering as part of PeleLM publish process
• WarpX Cuda Vol Rendering Crash: https://github.com/Alpine-DAV/ascent/issues/825
  • Cyrus wants to try new VTK-m
• UMS (User Managed Software) space on Summit will allow us to have non purgable installs (Terry is working on this)
• Ascent on Spock -- successful builds:
  • gcc non mpi builds with openmp
  • cce mpi builds with openmp
• Ascent on Perlmutter - we still have not built here
  • Still want to know which compilers code teams need
