Agenda

• Work with VTK-m team to migrate VTK-h use of worklets into VTK-m
• Still have HIP issues with full dependency stack (RAJA)
• Some AMD GPU flags from our stack are leaking into AMR Wind. We should track this down, Hank has a concrete example and will create a ticket. Cyrus Note: I have seen this as well, I think we can reproduce in our using-with-cmake examples.

Discussion Topics:

• Spack Update

  • On pause due to HIP issues, related to ROCm install layout.
  • Check list / issues: https://github.com/Alpine-DAV/ascent/issues/949
  • We now have ROCm CI testing, and script to build tpls with ROCm.

• Great Amalgamation Progress Report

  • Still working on merge for long standing expressions refactor
  • Right before 0.9.0 release, we will finish with some reorg of dir structures.
