Updates

• Justin submitted an application to be a mentor for another DSTI summer student with the Ascent team as co-mentors. Their main project would be Conduit device support, with Ascent radiography work as a back-up project if they finish early
• Nicole & Cyrus vitually participated in the TACC/ANARI Hackathon in October
  • Cyrus was a VisIt mentor
  • Nicole spent time merging the viskores + anari dev branches

Recent Developments:

• Cyrus: Lots of release prep -- Released 0.9.5
• Cyrus: Updates to a number of build scripts
  • el cap, polaris, cycl
• Emily: Added VisIt & Ascent camera mode parity
• Nicole: Added 1D and 2D contours -- limited by VTKm 2.3, can add more support with Viskores
• Nicole: Working on fixing an MPI hang for Uniform Grid
  • This is fixed but working on other Uniform Grid/Sampling
    • Fixing default spacing (done)
    • Adding Box to Sampling (almost done)
• Andres added tracing for multiple energy groups in Rover
