- Post-induction emails, (Jackie)
- Induction processes to be reviewed (Mike and Jackie)
- Run more workshops (Everyone) #1985 (Michael Dale) proposed a CAD show-and-tell workshop. (Sanna) will be running workshops to support the Circular Arts network
- Create events space booking document that can be used for promotion (Chris T)
- Investigate tap to pay device, Neil put QR code on Seans Desk - Jackie to reprint (Jackie) https://github.com/DoESLiverpool/somebody-should/issues/2046
- Procedure to induct event organisers (Jackie & Mike)
- Wall of names: A number of tiles have been made by (Chris H). Ongoing.
- Future Gazing Day: This took place on 20th January. (Adrian) to capture results on wiki
- Improve reporting of broken sewing machines Suggestion is to put up signage to make this clearer to people using the machines. Make sure the names of the machines are clear so we can track which are breaking. Ongoing.
- People who make things at DoES [#1523] Neil has built a page on our website. (Jackie) to send out an email on our Google Group to find makers to populate this page
- Organise a Pat test event (Mike)
- Mike still talking to people interested in taking Gerald
- Jackie to target emails to people who had recent inductions
- Mike to email google groups to recruit new members to the maintenance team. Ongoing.
- Jackie to send a link to people to show us how to access more calendars
- John to check if the evening events payments are showing up in the cost of doing epic and the charts
- Fibre arts team will lead on raising the issue of keeping the space tidy and using equipment appropriately, Michael Dales also happy to help
- Chris T to create physical broken labels that can be put in place on broken equipment
Notes./Actions
Major safety issue with laser firing when lid open now resolved. Fiona now back in service. New focus stick prototype cut and in use. Will evaluate improvements with user feedback Still to fit spotter laser, which is a few hours work and the machine will be down whilst this is undertaken.
New lid sensor switch obtained. Still to be fitted. Will evaluate laptop PC donated Dave Benji, as a replacement for the ailing old PC.
Had a recent alignement issue that was quickly resolved, will monitor to see how frequently this occurs. Issue with laser cuts stalling part way through still to be diagnosed.
No updates, no one from Fibre Arts team attended meeting
