We rent approximately 4,350sqft or 404sq/m of space. There are two Doorbot controlled doors into the site with a kitchen hatch between them (currently blocked off).

Event Space

Straight ahead at the top of the stairs. Far wall is all windows.

Open events are generally free to book, but if you have a private event (eg a company away day or private seminar) prices are usually £120/day, £60 for a half day or £36 for an evening. Contact hello@doesliverpool.com to book.

Two layouts:

  • Conference style layout Seating for up to ~30 people, can be stretched to 40
  • Social meeting layout Groups of tables with seating for ~12 people. Desks can be used to extend number of people to 14-16

Approximately 6.5m x 10m.

There are around 55 chairs of varying style and quality, and a PA with microphones.

Main Room

Doors on left at top of stairs. Has one pillar in the middle, but otherwise is an enormous open space.

Working clockwise from this door are the following spaces:

Alcove

Home to our Vinyl cutter, sublimation printer, sticky label printer, mug heat press, heat press. This space also is now home for our Mailboxes.

Machine Room

Contains the large CNC router. This room also has a collection of hand and power tools for metalworking and woodworking, including a small bandsaw, bench sander, Fret saw, router and Drill Press.

Benches between metal working room and laser cutter/wood working room

Holds strip heater, and injection moulder, in addition to a large collection of small tools and equipment in drawers.

There are desks set up for Sewing Machines and Knitting Machines on one side of the room, the other side is home for our Electronics bench along with microscopes, oscilloscopes, and PCB construction area.

Meeting Nook

In the old light well is a smaller area with sofa and chairs that can be used for small meetings, calls, or just eating your lunch!

The occulus VR kit lives here where you can enter another dimension.

Ceilings

The ceiling heights in the spaces are all 3.6m except for the soundproof room which is 2.34m.

Dinky Meeting room

(Note that this is labelled Soundproof room on the diagram above)

Our second meeting room, smaller than the events room. Available for use for meetings, phone calls, etc. Does not have windows or heating currently. Can be booked using the Dinky Room booking system (for those who have access, this updates the The Tapestry-1-Dinky (20) [Screen] resource calendar).

Approximately 5m x 5.5m

Fibre Arts room

(Note that this is labelled as Dinky on the diagram above)

Now the home of all things "fibre arts", this includes a large table for cutting out on along with sewing machines, knitting machines and lots of other things relating to the fibre arts. Has an air conditioning unit which provides good efficient heating.

Co-working Room 29.2, quieter co-working space

A quieter office space, good for office work without the traffic of the main room.
