Parking
There is on street parking local to DoESLiverpool on Kempston Street and it is now only free in the evening after 11pm.
As ever in the daytime parking in the city centre can be difficult and depends on demand, so we would encourage you to use public transport wherever possible! 😄 During the day there's paid on-street parking available outside DoESLiverpool for up to four hours. The costs are quite high as well:
- £2.00 for 30 minutes
- £4.00 for 1 hour
- £6.00 for 2 hours
- £10.00 for 4 hours
There are a number of car parks in easy walking distance from DoESLiverpool, as follows:
- Lambert St - 69 spaces - £9.20/day, open 07:30 - 19:30 - map, more info - 2 minute walk
- Kempston St - 45 spaces - £9.20/day, open 07:30 - 19:30 - map, more info - 3 minute walk
- Intelli-Park, Kempston Street - 32 Spaces - £8.00/day, open 06:00 - 18:00
- Burgess Street - 39 spaces - £9.20/day, open 07:30 - 19:30 map
- Finch Place - 22 spaces - free, but only open 19:30 - 23:99. This is a contract car park during the day, but is free for public use after 7:30 pm on a weekday. map, more info
- Royal Liverpool Hospital - 500 spaces - £5.50 for 2 hours to £15.00 for 24, open 24/7 - map, more info, 6 minute walk
For the on street parking controlled by Liverpool City Council (all but the Royal Liverpool Hospital), there are a collection of apps that you can get for your mobile phone that makes parking a little easier (rather than hunting for change). You do pay a 20p booking charge though, but you get a useful warning when your parking is due to expire. Details of these apps are available on the parking signs for the relevant parking spaces.

Don't park in the Lidl car park beyond the time limit, they have CCTV monitoring the entrance and exit which will detect longer stays!
There are 4 bays for blue badge holders at the top (east end) of Kempston Street.
Additionally blue badge holders can use the Kempston Street pay-and-display parking bays for free, for an unlimited time (not including loading bays). Usual Terms & Conditions of Blue Badge Holders apply so do make sure you understand them fully and display your valid badge clearly.
