Drives a DMX servo channel between a start and end position, optionally using phoneme data from a timing track instead of the sliders.
| Parameter | Type | Range | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base Channel | dropdown | (node names of the model) | Selects which channel on the DMX model to control. The list is populated from the model's node names. |
| 16 bit | checkbox | true/false | When enabled, outputs a 16-bit value across two channels (coarse and fine) for higher precision servo positioning. When disabled, uses a single 8-bit channel. Default: enabled. |
| Use Timing Track | checkbox | true/false | When enabled, the servo position is driven by phoneme data from a timing track instead of the start/end value sliders, useful for lip-sync animations. Default: disabled. |
| Timing Track | dropdown | (timing tracks in the sequence) | Selects which timing track to use for phoneme-driven servo positioning. Only used when Use Timing Track is enabled. |
| Start/End | slider (x2) | 0-100% (0.1 precision) | Start and End servo position sliders, each expressed as a percentage with 0.1 precision. Each supports an optional value curve and a per-effect link toggle. |
| Sync / Equal / Swap | buttons | — | Sync mirrors the Start and End values together; Equal copies the Start value to End; Swap exchanges the Start and End values. |
Use Timing Track and Timing Track only take effect when phoneme-driven positioning is desired; otherwise the servo moves between the Start and End percentages set on the Start/End row.
Assign the model's servo node names correctly so the Base Channel dropdown lists them, and use 16 bit output when your DMX servo controller supports it for smoother, more precise motion. Use the Sync/Equal/Swap buttons to quickly set up symmetric sweeps or reverse a motion.
